Deloitte is seeking a Senior GCP Architect (Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer II) to lead secure, scalable Google Cloud solutions for Public Sector clients. This remote role within the continental United States emphasizes architecture leadership, modernization, and cross-team coordination on AI & Engineering projects.

The candidate should have extensive cloud and software experience, Google Cloud certification, and the ability to mentor others while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or 12+ years of experience in cloud infra, cloud ops, software development, or technical consulting.
• 8+ years in enterprise or government cloud architecture or related fields, including 5+ years of hands-on software engineering (Python or C++).
• Experience leading cloud deployments, migrations, or modernization programs and advising executives on cloud decisions.
• Experience designing/operating Google Cloud infrastructure, networking, security, data, applications, and Kubernetes services.
• Hold a current Google Cloud Professional certification in at least one listed specialty.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% on average.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Lead architecture and delivery of secure, scalable Google Cloud solutions; set standards and roadmaps.
• Act as a senior technical advisor to customers and leaders; evaluate tradeoffs and strategies.
• Provide hands-on engineering leadership through coding, prototyping, and validation.
• Drive cloud modernization and migrations; identify risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate with client teams to resolve issues; mentor junior architects and engineers.
