DaCodes is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer for a 4-6 month remote engagement focused on healthcare tech. You will design, build and optimize scalable web applications using PHP and Laravel, with strong OOP fundamentals and modern web practices.

You will join a distributed team across LATAM and the United States, collaborating in an Agile environment, with flexible hours to overlap Central or Pacific Time.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Strong understanding of OOP and software design.
• Experience building modern web applications.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Availability to work during Central or Pacific Time Zone business hours.
• Availability for a 4-6 month contract.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications.
• Build clean, maintainable, and reusable code following object-oriented programming principles.
• Collaborate with a distributed engineering team in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to both backend and frontend development across the application stack.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Learn and work with PHP/Laravel as part of the existing technology stack when needed.
• Continuously improve code quality, performance, and maintainability.
