Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to support the NIH NHLBI custom software portfolio. The role focuses on delivering innovative solutions while reducing technical debt and guiding the team in best practices.

Responsibilities span the full SDLC with emphasis on design, development, and agile collaboration. You will influence architecture decisions and support a high-performing development team working across modern technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in CS/IS/Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with Material UI/React.
• Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins or GitHub Actions).
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Experience leveraging Azure cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Own the full software development lifecycle from design to testing.
• Deliver innovative solutions for NIH NHLBI portfolio and reduce technical debt.
• Contribute across all parts of the application and testing stack.
• Guide the team to write clean, maintainable, and extensible code.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and manage code using GitHub.
