Job summary

CueTime, a small, fast-moving team building live-event timing solutions, is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to own and evolve the web application used by production teams to control timers, cues, and devices.

You'll collaborate with product designers and backend engineers to ship real-time, polished UIs that perform under pressure across desktop, tablet, and mobile, leveraging React, TypeScript and WebSockets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience
• Strong expertise in React and TypeScript
• Experience with WebSockets or real-time data synchronization
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and tested code
• Bonus: Electron, Tailwind, or Storybook
• Bonus: Interest in live events, AV technology, or production tools

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the CueTime web app (React, TypeScript, WebSockets)
• Own features from concept to deployment — session management, timer controls, cue systems, device sync
• Ensure real-time performance and reliability for users running live events
• Collaborate with designers to ship polished, responsive UIs
• Optimize for multiple devices — desktop, tablet, and mobile
• Participate in code reviews and technical planning
