Job summary

Worky is seeking a Senior Frontend-Focused Full Stack Engineer to build scalable web applications and marketing-related experiences. The role emphasizes frontend work with React and TypeScript, with opportunities to touch Java and Spring Boot backend services as needed.

You will collaborate with product, UX, and marketing teams to scope, design, estimate, and deliver high-quality solutions, owning features from requirements to delivery in a remote contract engagement.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong frontend development experience with React.
Experience with TypeScript or modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Hands-on experience with backend services in Java and Spring Boot.
Experience developing and maintaining full-stack web applications.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to scope work, estimate timelines, and deliver features independently.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain full-stack web applications with a primary focus on frontend development.
Build new React features and enhance existing functionality.
Contribute to backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
Participate in design discussions, estimation, and implementation.
Collaborate with engineering, product, UX, and marketing stakeholders.
