Job summary

UnityPoint Health is hiring a Financial Planning Analyst Senior to join our Financial Planning team. This role manages the monthly close process for UnityPoint Health Senior Affiliates and ensures accurate GAAP-based reporting.

Candidates with PowerBI or Tableau experience and automation background are encouraged to apply. This remote role requires residence within the UnityPoint Health footprint (IA, IL, WI) and offers a 8-5 schedule, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum seven years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, analytics, and accounting.
• PowerBI and Tableau experience.
• Experience in automation.

Responsibilities

• Manages the monthly close processes for UnityPoint Health Senior Affiliates.
• Prepares financial statements and reports to summarize current and projected financial position.
• Ensures integrity of information under US GAAP.
• Supports accounting and finance initiatives and analyses for strategic projects.
• Leads regional budgeting and interacts with leadership on financial results.
• Supports audits and regulatory processes and coordinates with treasury on debt matters.
