Job summary

Executive Alliance is seeking an experienced attorney to own Virginia real estate/foreclosure matters from start to finish. You will oversee foreclosure files through resolutions, including complex and contested proceedings.

The role can be fully remote or hybrid/on-site, with court appearances as required. The ideal candidate holds a JD from an accredited school, an active Virginia Bar license, and 5+ years handling Virginia foreclosures, including contested cases.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Virginia Bar license in good standing.
• 5+ years of hands-on Virginia foreclosure experience.
• Experience handling contested foreclosure matters through resolution.
• Strong research, drafting, and litigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee judicial and non-judicial Virginia foreclosure matters from start to finish.
• Prepare and review pleadings, motions, notices, affidavits, and other documents.
• Represent the firm in Virginia state courts, hearings, mediations, and bench trials.
• Provide legal guidance, case evaluations, and risk assessments to clients and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with Virginia foreclosure and real estate laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with paralegals and staff to maintain efficient workflow across locations.
• Assist with title issues and curative matters arising from defaults.
