Job summary

Quest Defense Systems and Solutions is seeking an experienced Aircraft-Level Flight Control System Integrator for remote work with up to 25% travel. You will oversee the integration of fly-by-wire flight control systems across aircraft programs, interfacing with avionics, electronics, software, and safety teams to ensure end-to-end verification of system behavior.

The role requires a strong background in FBW systems, MATLAB/Simulink tooling, ARP4754A/B, ARP4761, DO-178C/254, and experience with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering with 7+ years in aerospace field.
• Experience in definition and certification of FBW and/or secondary flight control systems.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems and interfaces (electrical, hydraulic, avionics, auto-flight).
• Knowledge of Part 25 certification process and DO-178C/DO-254 standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration of FBW and secondary flight controls on the aircraft.
• Develop concepts, design approach and philosophy with Flight Control system supplier.
• Develop, validate and verify technical requirements of the Flight Control System.
• Review and prepare test procedures and test reports for certification.
