Brains Workgroup, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for Finance Data & Architecture to join the Data Warehouse Analysis & Design team on a 6-month initial contract, with potential extensions and option to hire.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or Financial Systems experience in Banking.
• Deep knowledge of GL, Journal processing, Subledger architectures, balance sheet and P&L reporting.
• Strong SQL skills and experience analyzing complex enterprise data models.
• Experience documenting requirements, data mappings, and business processes.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, data, and reporting requirements.
• Translate requirements into data mappings, functional specs, and design artifacts.
• Analyze end-to-end financial data flows from source systems through subledgers and GL platforms.
• Create and maintain source-to-target mappings, data lineage, and logical data models.
• Partner with Finance, Product Control, Treasury, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams.
• Support data warehouse, reporting, governance, and modernization initiatives.
• Perform data analysis, reconciliation, impact assessments, and root-cause investigations.
