Job summary

The Estate Planning team is part of our Wealth Solutions group, a dynamic team environment consisting of professionals dedicated to providing and implementing planning strategies for our high new worth clients. This role is remote, with a strong preference for candidates licensed in Texas and with the ability to travel into one of our Texas offices once or twice a month for client meetings (Dallas, Houston, Austin).

Base pay range is $130,000 - $150,000 USD.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) required and licensed to practice law in at least one state.
• 4-8 years legal experience in estate planning preferred.
• Ability to interpret and convey complex estate planning topics to Wealth Management teams and clients.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Meet with wealth advisors and Wealth Solutions to review, fund, and maintain estate plans.
• Learn advanced planning strategies and build a book of ultra-high-net-worth clients.
• Review and summarize existing estate planning documents and advise on changes based on law and family circumstances.
• Answer informational estate planning questions from clients and advisor teams.
• Serve as in-house estate planning resource to wealth management teams nationwide.
• Stay current with estate, trust, and tax legislation nationwide.
• Support business development through presentations, thought leadership, and client meetings.
• Mentor Estate Planning Strategists and oversee day-to-day tasks of assigned staff.
