Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our Corporate Business Technology team. This role designs, governing, and continuously improving the firm’s enterprise application architecture in alignment with our Microsoft-centric, cloud-first IT strategy.

The Senior Enterprise Architect will help define architecture standards, roadmaps, governance models, and reusable patterns that connect business capabilities with scalable, secure, and integrated technology solutions.

Qualifications

• 6 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Travel may be required; frequency contingent on duties.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise architecture blueprints across business, application, data, and technology domains.
• Design integration patterns across enterprise systems using Azure services and related cloud capabilities.
• Define reference architectures, reusable patterns, and guardrails to support secure, scalable delivery.
• Document and maintain architecture standards and roadmaps within architecture tools.
• Support governance processes and architecture reviews with stakeholders.
• Partner with delivery teams as trusted architecture advisor on risks and integration challenges.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise architecture practices.
