Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies seeks an experienced Edge AI Engineer to design and optimize edge AI solutions for mobile and embedded devices. You will unitize quantization, pruning, and architecture improvements to meet device constraints, while building cross-platform runtimes with TensorFlow Lite and ONNX Runtime.

This role emphasizes privacy-aware telemetry, on-device updates, and close collaboration with hardware teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Eight+ years of ML engineering, with edge/mobile experience.
Strong Python and C++ skills.
Hands-on with model compression, quantization, pruning.
Experience with at least one major edge inference framework.
Solid understanding of mobile/embedded hardware architectures.
Experience deploying ML models to production on mobile/embedded platforms.

Responsibilities

Design and implement edge AI solutions for diverse hardware.
Apply quantization, pruning, distillation, and architecture optimization.
Tune model performance for latency, energy, memory footprint on target hardware.
Build cross-platform inference runtimes using TensorFlow Lite, ONNX Runtime, Core ML.
Optimize models for accelerators (DSPs, NPUs, mobile GPUs).
Implement on-device update, versioning, and rollback workflows.
Design hybrid edge-cloud architectures with graceful degradation.
Build telemetry pipelines with privacy in mind.
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and product teams.
