Job summary

Paradigm Information Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer for a remote, 12-month contract to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment systems supporting enterprise applications.

The role emphasizes reliability, scalability, security, and performance through IaC, CI/CD automation, and advanced monitoring. Collaboration with software, QA, security, and business teams is key to modernizing infrastructure and production operations.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering.
3+ years designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
3+ years deploying, operating, and troubleshooting cloud environments, preferably Azure.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM templates, or Ansible.
Experience implementing monitoring and observability (logging, metrics, alerting, dashboards).
Experience supporting cloud, application, or database migrations.
Knowledge of SQL databases and deployment/migration processes.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure, primarily in Azure.
Develop and maintain IaC, configuration management, and automation solutions.
Build reusable tools to streamline operations and improve productivity.
Improve reliability, scalability, performance, security, and cost efficiency of production environments.
Collaborate with development, QA, security, and business teams to streamline software delivery.
