Job summary

Rightsline Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer who will lead core DevOps engineering, automation, and scalable cloud platforms.

This 100% remote role is based in Toronto, Ontario, with responsibilities spanning reliability, infrastructure design, and platform tooling to speed software delivery. You will architect containerized apps on AWS ECS (Fargate), implement IaC and provisioning, and build automation across CI/CD pipelines while mentoring engineers and shaping DevOps practices to

Qualifications

5+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering roles.
Experience with container orchestration platforms (ECS/Fargate, Docker).
Hands-on AWS or other cloud hosting environments; networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Architect, deploy, and manage containerized applications using AWS ECS (Fargate) and serverless technologies.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and provisioning (Ansible).
Develop AWS Lambda functions or container-hosted services for automation and monitoring.
Establish and improve CI/CD standards and deployment pipelines across software teams.
Mentor junior engineers and drive automation to reduce toil.
Collaborate with Engineering and Product to align infra strategy with business goals.
