Job summary

Hatica is seeking a DevOps engineer to build and scale cloud-native infrastructure for a distributed SaaS product. You will own systems that support development, deployment, observability, security, reliability, and recovery, emphasizing automation and infrastructure as code.

The role is remote with a preference for candidates in India and offers flexible hours. You will work independently to improve developer productivity, operate production infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes, and contribute

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on Terraform experience.
3+ years managing Kubernetes clusters.
Practical AWS experience with managed services.
Strong foundations in networking, databases and distributed systems.
Experience operating CI/CD systems for microservices.
Familiarity with observability, security practices and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

Deploy and operate cloud-native infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and change management using Terraform.
Own and improve CI/CD pipelines and microservice deployment workflows.
Design automation and developer-platform improvements for reliability.
Build and maintain logging, monitoring, and dashboards with observability tooling.
Maintain security monitoring, patching, DR and data-recovery practices.
Write and maintain scripts to reduce manual operational work.
