Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking a Senior Designer (Natural Gas Plant & Midstream) to support plant engineering and construction projects. You will manage drawing integrity, perform QC, and coordinate with internal teams and third‑party firms to ensure accurate as‑built documentation across compressor stations and related facilities.

Extensive experience with AutoCAD, CADWorx, and BlueBeam is required. This role supports both Greenfield and Brownfield developments and involves coordinating with

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years’ experience with an associate degree in drafting or equivalent.
• Minimum 20 years’ experience if no associate degree.
• Experience with P&IDs/SPIDs, schematics, and as-built documentation.
• Experience coordinating with third‑party engineering firms and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Research and provide drawings to PMs for Greenfield and Brownfield additions.
• Serve as primary point of contact for plant project drawing support.
• Collaborate with Field Operations to verify data and update drawings for compressor stations.
• Assist PMs with sustaining projects by revising for IFC and as-built updates.
• Assess project scope and assign appropriate team for execution.
• Perform QC of SPID drawings and review schematics for accuracy.
• Interpret redlines and field feedback into accurate drawings.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and vendors on material issues.
