Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional data science, data engineering, or ML experience.
• Strong command of Python, SQL, statistical modeling, ML, experimentation and causal inference.
• Proven ability to turn messy real-world data into rigorous analyses and reliable pipelines.
• Excellent written English, including the ability to explain technical findings clearly.
• Bachelor's degree from an English-speaking country.
• Detail-oriented, consistent approach to evaluating complex work.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic, challenging data science and data engineering tasks, including exploratory analyses, statistical modeling, ML pipelines, ETL, and data pipeline design.
• Illustrate what good looks like by writing precise criteria for data science and data engineering deliverables.
• Apply evidence-based judgment to ensure assessments are reproducible and defensible.
• Take structured feedback from senior reviewers and iterate on submitted work.
• Train and evaluate frontier AI models using expertise from top tech or finance firms.
• Work independently and asynchronously to improve AI model performance.
