A leading tech staffing provider is looking for a Mid-Senior level Data Engineer based in Boston, Massachusetts. This full-time role involves transforming data systems, designing automated data pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in computer science and over 4 years of experience with advanced SQL, Java or Groovy, and experience in Agile environments. Competitive salary in the range of $110,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with advanced SQL Knowledge (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• 4+ years of experience with Java or Groovy languages.
• 3+ years of experience interacting with web service APIs (SOAP, REST).
• 2+ years of data modeling experience.
• Knowledge of modern data platforms including how to design, scale and optimize data systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive the transformation of data systems by designing and deploying architectures.
• Design and develop highly performant, resilient, automated data pipelines.
• Analyze, organize, and transform raw and structured data.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data discrepancies, quality issues, and pipeline failures.
• Collaborate closely with BI Engineers and Finance teams to deliver efficient data solutions.
