Job summary

Techstack is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the centralized Data & AI team, building scalable data foundations across operating units. You will own end-to-end pipelines on Google Cloud, collaborating with architects and engineers to deliver reusable data products.

You will design and implement ingestion, transformation, and CDC patterns using BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataform, and Cloud Composer; write Python and SQL.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing data engineering solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency with BigQuery and Dataflow.
• Experience with workflow orchestration, preferably Cloud Composer.
• Strong Python programming and advanced SQL.
• Experience building production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Develop reusable pipeline patterns and components for use across multiple business units.
• Support batch, micro-batch, and streaming data processing.
• Build reliable ingestion processes from enterprise systems and external sources.
• Implement data cleansing, transformation, and deduplication.
• Develop and maintain solutions on BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer, and Dataform.
• Implement or support CDC pipelines for relational databases and other transactional systems.
• Collaborate with the Principal Data Architect to implement architectural standards.
