Team Velocity Marketing, LLC is seeking a Senior / Mid-Level Data Engineer to build and scale the data platform that supports analytics, BI, ML, and customer-facing products across the organization. This role emphasizes reliable, high-performance data pipelines and modern data architectures that keep data trusted, accessible, and actionable.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on data engineering experience, strong SQL and Python skills, and working experience with modern cloud data

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in Data/Software Engineering or related field
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants in development
• Ability to build and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines
• Knowledge of data modeling and warehousing concepts
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ELT/ETL workflows
• Develop data models and structures to support analytics and ML
• Use Snowflake and cloud data platforms to ingest and transform large datasets
• Partner with BI and Data Science teams to deliver trusted datasets
• Ensure data quality, validation, and monitoring processes
• Support batch and near real-time data integration
• Contribute to APIs and data services for internal/customer apps
• Leverage AI tools while ensuring code quality and correctness
• Document architectures, pipelines, and engineering standards
• Participate in code and design reviews
