Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support program management, data analytics, and reporting for DHS ICE. This fully remote role collaborates with analysts to respond to data calls, develop dashboards, and manage data lineage across systems.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience, 3+ years in data analysis, and proficiency in Databricks, Python and SQL. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or commensurate experience).
• 8+ years of professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis.
• Experience with Databricks.
• Experience with Python and/or SQL development.

Responsibilities

• Leverage Databricks and other tool sets to track data lineage across systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect information for timely responses.
• Support data analytics and reporting requirements for weekly/monthly deliverables.
• Group data from multiple sources to create data streams for analysis (SQL or Python).
• Develop data dashboards and organizational views of data requirements.
• Understand client needs, perform gap analyses, and recommend solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-discipline teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Create project deliverables to ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Disseminate information among business and technical customers in support of PMs.
• Establish effective project communication plans and execute them.
• Verify data and analyze it to guide project direction.
• Track, forecast and report on project progress and challenges.
• Work with team to adapt to changing requirements and timelines.
• Translate complex issues into a concise, clear narrative.
