Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Cyber Security Business Planning, Strategy & Support Consultant to lead strategic planning, workforce planning, capacity management, and operational enablement across the Enterprise Cybersecurity Office.

This senior contributor will partner with Technology, Finance, HR, Strategy, and Risk Management to align resources, investments, and operations with strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 10 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 14 years' experience in Business Strategy, Project Planning, and Financial Services industry
• Experience leading large-scale portfolios, programs, or enterprise-wide strategic initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive organizational outcomes
• Experience establishing governance models, portfolio reporting, and strategic planning processes
• Strong understanding of risk management, technology, and cybersecurity operating environments
• Certifications: PMP, PgMP, PfMP, SAFe, Agile, or related
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Power BI, Tableau, Clarity, or related portfolio management tools
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analytics, including complex formula development, Power Query, PivotTables, data modeling and analytical techniques

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic business planning and capacity management across the Enterprise Cybersecurity Office.
• Support executive leadership in prioritization, resource allocation, and financial governance.
• Develop planning frameworks, methodologies, and performance measures.
• Drive automation and operational maturity to improve planning, reporting, and efficiency.
• Provide executive dashboards and performance reporting to inform decision-making.
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity, Technology, Finance, HR, and Risk Management teams for alignment.
