Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Sr. CRA 2 with 4+ years of clinical monitoring experience who can oversee site visits, data integrity, and SAE reporting across the US Midwest region. The role involves coordinating feasibility work, training staff, and acting as a local client contact when required.

The position requires durable knowledge of regulatory requirements and the ability to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven research environment with significant travel expectations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of clinical monitoring experience.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree or allied health certification.
• Experience with SAE reporting and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of site monitoring, including routine visits, close-outs, and pre-study/initiation visits.
• Oversee site management per project plans and ensure protocol adherence.
• Perform on-site monitoring and ensure proper staff training.
• Verify informed consent procedures and patient safety per regulatory requirements.
• Ensure data integrity on CRFs and other data tools; monitor for missing or implausible data.
• Manage registry tasks and support feasibility studies as requested.
• Perform SAE reporting and follow-up, including narratives and repos.
• Assist with training of new staff and coordinate local project activities as needed.
• Act as local client contact and manage designated clinical projects under supervision.
• Perform other assigned duties by management.
