Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering complex builds and releases across environments.
• Experience in large, regulated enterprises or federal environments.
• Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering.
• Broad knowledge of development, QA, systems engineering, and DevOps.
• Experience with CM practices: identification, baselining, change control, status accounting.
• Experience with source control systems: Git, GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps Repos, Subversion.
• Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions; artifact repos Nexus, Artifactory.
• Scripting for automation: Bash, PowerShell, Python.
• Experience with Infrastructure as code: Ansible, Terraform.
• Knowledge of software quality standards, governance, training developers on CM tools.

Responsibilities

• Support VA applications and migrate to the cloud.
• Develop and maintain CM tools for identification, control, reporting, and delivery of software.
• Perform CM and release tasks to ensure documented, compliant builds across hardware configurations.
• Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools to improve software modeling and development.
• Create build procedures to support software product development and use.
• Develop software configuration standards for company-wide use.
• Train developers in CM tools and software quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and solutions to complex problems.
• Operate autonomously and make sound decisions; collaborate with stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor junior analysts/engineers in CM best practices.
