Job summary

ICF Next is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to join our fast-paced federal transportation communications team. You will serve as the primary client contact for multiple deliverables, directing planning, messaging, and media relations across digital and traditional channels while coordinating with a multi-disciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, advertising, or related majors or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience including project management on large-scale federal communications projects.
• U.S. Citizenship required (per contract requirements).

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, and create effective communications across media relations, digital media, publications, speeches, and reports.
• Develop and implement communications strategies and manage all deliverables with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Collaborate with federal employees to inform strategies and messaging.
• Develop and produce public-facing and internal deliverables with aligned messaging.
• Coordinate client and internal teams to meet weekly goals and ensure high-quality outputs.
