Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer (AWS/Azure) to design, build, and secure enterprise cloud infrastructure and cloud-native security solutions. This role is fully remote across the United States.

Responsibilities include implementing secure cloud infrastructure, WAF-based services, and IaC pipelines. Required are 5+ years in AWS/Azure security, Terraform expertise, Barracuda WAF experience, and strong IAM knowledge. Salary ranges from $135,000 to $145,000.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, implementing, and securing AWS and Azure environments.
• Experience with Terraform, Terraform Enterprise, AWS CodeBuild, GitHub Runners, and IaC best practices.
• Experience deploying and securing Barracuda WAF in enterprise cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, service principals, cross-account access, and vulnerability remediation.
• Ability to independently design and deploy new cloud infrastructure without step-by-step direction.
• No clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and secure AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure based on diagrams.
• Build and maintain shared infrastructure services, including WAF-as-a-Service using Barracuda WAF, plus load balancers, NAT gateways, VPCs, networking, and subnets.
• Review cloud architecture for misconfigurations, IAM issues, and cross-account access risks.
• Investigate and triage security findings from Wiz and Cycode with remediation guidance.
• Develop and support serverless architectures and automated deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code.
