Palmetto GBA, LLC is seeking a qualified auditor to perform comprehensive financial, compliance, and operational audits within a dynamic health-insurance administrative environment. The role supports internal controls and risk management across the organization.

The position offers remote work within the United States or onsite in Columbia, SC, requires 40 hours weekly, and may involve overtime. A Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of auditing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a job related field is required.
• At least 3 years of auditing experience.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts internal and external audits of divisions, departments, providers, and activities.
• Identifies, documents, and evaluates business risks and control gaps.
• Documents issues, causes, and effects; drafts recommendations to improve processes.
• Writes audit reports for executive management conveying evaluations and recommendations.
• Collects and analyzes data to detect deficient controls, duplication, fraud, or non-compliance.
