Job summary

AML RightSource is hiring a Senior Financial Crimes Investigator to lead investigations, verify client identities, and perform QC tasks in a remote environment for North Carolina-based clients. The role offers independence, escalation authority, and opportunities to supervise junior analysts.

You will develop client-specific training materials, assist with data analysis, and ensure compliance with AML/KYC regulations while meeting strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor’s degree required.
• Ability to investigate suspicious activity, analyze findings and prepare SARs.
• Strong knowledge of financial or banking regulations and laws.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify data anomalies and red flags related to money laundering and related crimes; escalate as needed.
• Verify client identities per KYC procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Perform quality control tasks and support analysts as needed.
• Assist with client communication, data analysis, and development of client materials.
• Submit work for internal and client QC review and act on feedback.
• Meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
