Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in a quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of industry experience with an MS; PhD candidates preferred.
  • Experience researching and building large-scale decision-making systems under uncertainty.
  • Strong communication to translate mathematical ideas for product teams and constrain optimization problems.

Responsibilities

  • Model inventory decay, promotions, price elasticity, and inventory uncertainty.
  • Drive core system changes from research through production with rigorously tested, scalable code.
  • Advance R&D for new product and business challenges.
  • Mentor scientists and engineers, set standards for experimental rigor, review designs and results.
  • Push the boundaries of AI capabilities in products and workflows.
