General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking an AI/ML Architect SME to define, design, deploy, and maintain modular AI/ML architectures for the CMM Program.

You will lead end-to-end pipelines, ensure secure, scalable cloud workloads, and provide strategic direction on AI/ML tooling and workflows. You will bring hands-on experience with AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or Google Vertex AI, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and MLOps to drive modernization across federal court data initiatives.

Formación

• Education: BA/BS or equivalent required; Master of Arts or Science in related field preferred
• Experience: 15+ years of related experience required, with at least 5+ years of recent, demonstrable, hands-on experience architecting and deploying AI/ML workflows in cloud environments utilizing AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, and/or Google Vertex AI
• Proven success in architecting and deploying AI/ML workflows in cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with ML/DL frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, XGBoost, or Keras
• Strong programming skills in Python, with Docker and Kubernetes for ML workloads
• Experience with MLOps tools and CI/CD for model deployment
• Familiarity with federal data governance and security standards
• Proficient in IaC tools like Terraform/CDK/CloudFormation
• Experience with multi-tenant, distributed cloud-native architectures

Responsabilidades

• Define scalable, modular AI/ML architecture aligning with cloud strategy and product requirements
• Architect end-to-end AI/ML pipelines including data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, deployment, monitoring, retraining
• Integrate MLOps practices for CI/CD and lifecycle management of models
• Ensure multi-tenant and multi-region AI/ML workloads are elastic and cost-efficient
• Use IaC tools to provision and manage cloud-based AI/ML infrastructure
• Design and support reusable AI/ML services and APIs for enterprise apps
• Conduct model validation and optimization with responsible AI practices
• Maintain AI/ML architecture docs and artifacts per sprint cycles
• Support AI/ML metrics and dashboards in technical reports
• Guide teams on third-party ML tools secured and compliant
