Job summary

Reinsurance Group Of America is seeking a skilled professional to manage client data administration, run data quality rules, and reconcile settlements for US Longevity and other lines. You will support governance, risk management, and finance teams, ensuring accurate treaty reporting and timely cash settlements.

The role requires strong Excel and SQL skills, a Bachelor’s degree, and 5–8 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work experience.
• 5-8 years of insurance, accounting, risk management, or audit related experience.
• Strong Excel and basic SQL/Query skills.
• Advanced oral and written communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Review original ceding company accounting settlements for sophisticated reinsurance agreements for compliance with treaty terms.
• Ensure accurate and timely treaty reporting and settlement, resolving differences with clients.
• Review client reporting and recommend enhanced data reporting for calculating benefits and monthly history summaries.
• Monitor cash settlement process per treaty terms, tracking data and settlement processing.
• Maintain client relationships and assist with treaty provisions as needed.
• Support SOX process review and provide audit support as required.
• Collaborate with Finance and Valuation to resolve general ledger variances.
• Participate in special projects and committees as needed.
