Job summary

Martello Re Limited seeks an Actuarial Valuations professional to analyze financial results across US GAAP, Bermuda EBS/BSCR, and embedded value frameworks. You will translate findings into clear management reports and support annual planning, forecasting, and assumption reviews.

The role offers exposure to senior management and cross-functional collaboration with Finance and Investments, with a focus on improving reporting workflows and controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, math, stats, business or related field.
Minimum two years actuarial experience required.
ASA designation preferred.
Familiarity with US GAAP (LDTI) and/or EBS/BSCR.
Advanced Excel skills.
Some familiarity with R, Python, and/or actuarial modeling software.

Responsibilities

Analyze financial results across US GAAP, Bermuda EBS/BSCR, and embedded value frameworks.
Prepare management reporting materials and support annual plan/forecast cycles.
Assist with actuarial assumption reviews and experience analysis.
Improve and automate reporting workflows.
Collaborate with Finance and Investments and support external audits.
