Job summary

Consor Engineers seeks a Senior Accounting Manager to lead core general ledger operations, oversee a small team, and own the month-end close with GAAP compliance. You will partner on financial reporting, audit readiness, and system-driven improvements using Deltek and BlackLine, with opportunities to add AI-enabled automation.

Qualifications

• CPA required
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience (public or corporate)
• AEC Industry experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with external audits and internal controls
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, XLOOKUP)
• Experience with Deltek and BlackLine
• Exposure to AI tools in finance (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
• Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger integrity and GAAP compliance
• Identify and drive close-time improvements
• Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
• Support external reporting and disclosures
• Coordinate audits and address findings
• Support M&A due diligence and integration
• Leverage Deltek and BlackLine to optimize workflows
• Drive automation and AI-driven finance improvements
• Lead and mentor staff accountants
