You will engage Lean/Agile frameworks and collaborate with teams delivering secure solutions across the development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in security engineering or compliance, with knowledge of NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and cloud security. U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in security engineering or compliance roles within federal or governmental environments.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with security tools (SIEM, firewalls, IDS) and cloud security solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; CISSP or CEH preferred; US citizenship and clearance ability.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls and compliance measures for cloud data.
• Conduct security assessments and audits per NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and policies.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering to embed secure coding practices.
• Monitor security incidents, vulnerabilities, and respond to mitigate risks.
• Document security controls, incident response, and audit procedures.
• Deliver security training and awareness programs for staff.
• Stay updated on evolving security technologies and threats.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning for regulatory compliance.
