Job summary

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Networks, Information Systems, or IT.
  • Completion of a university level course, internship, thesis, or research project involving network traffic monitoring and analysis; DDoS detection and mitigation; TCP/IP protocol suite; ACLs configuration; security incident monitoring and escalation; log analysis; threat detection and analysis; network security fundamentals; incident documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Turn compliance guidelines into business requirements, technical specifications and frameworks for internal teams and external assessors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand Akamai web-scale systems and guide the company to meet security obligations.
  • Help customers achieve security objectives and fine-tune controls to ensure optimal protection levels.
  • Own technical aspects of integration and support steps to go live, identifying and mitigating risks.
