A healthcare technology company is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure expert to manage its Google Cloud Platform environment. As the first dedicated DevOps/Security hire, your mission will involve building secure infrastructure solutions and establishing best practices for cloud resource management. The role requires deep expertise in GCP, automation with Terraform, and strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders. This position is remote, but candidates must be based in the Washington DC area for regular in-person meetings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure role.
• Proven ability to explain complex security risks to non-technical stakeholders.
• Deep expertise in cloud environments, especially GCP.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize GCP production and staging environments.
• Implement security measures and manage identity access control.
• Monitor cloud expenditures and suggest cost-saving strategies.
