Job summary

Rippling, Inc. is seeking a senior engineer to contribute across two products: the Moose open-source framework and the Boréal hosting platform. You will work across the stack, from front-end to backend, taking ownership of features and improving system reliability in a fast-paced startup environment.

You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams, review peers' work, and mentor junior engineers as the team scales. Experience with async Rust and TypeScript is highly valued.

The role

You will join the existing engineering team and split your time between two products: the open-source framework Moose and its hosting platform Boréal. As this is still very early in the company's life and the framework, you will have opportunities to stretch all across the stack, Whether on the Front End of the hosting platform, the backend, or the open-source framework itself.

I am pragmatic , I spend my innovation chips deliberately and will encourage you to do the same. I love learning, and I am always eager to read about the latest trends and best practices. I firmly believe that engineering is a team sport; the best technical architectures and designs come out of tight collaborations between team members. I will challenge your designs, encourage you to hone your craft, expect you to ship code to production often, and eventually expect you to coach more junior engineers as the team grows.
