Baker Tilly is seeking a Seasonal Tax Preparer to join a fully remote team for the February 1, 2027 to April 15, 2027 period. You will prepare individual and fiduciary returns in a paperless environment, applying firm policies and tax regulations with accuracy in a high-volume setting.

The role suits candidates with foundational tax knowledge who want to deepen experience during peak season. Minimum 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time.

Qualifications

• Previous tax preparation experience preferred.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Available to work minimum 30 hours per week.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual income tax returns (Form 1040 and/or 1041) with accuracy in a high-volume environment.
• Process client financial data using tax preparation software.
• Apply firm policies, tax regulations, and standardized procedures to deliver high-quality returns.
• Collaborate within a centralized, fully remote team environment while managing individual productivity goals.
• Demonstrate continuous learning and adaptation throughout the tax season.
