Responsibilities

• Tax Preparation: Prepare 1040 forms for individual income tax returns and file electronically or by mail; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Consultation: Calculate liabilities and refunds; identify deductions, credits, and exemptions; perform tax research as needed.
• Administrative: Collect and organize tax documents and enter data into tax software.
• Client Management: Communicate with clients to answer questions and guide on tax-related matters; record billable time.
