CLA, a top national professional services firm, is seeking a Seasonal Tax Preparer to join our tax team in Washington. The role involves preparing individual, business, trust, and estate returns, with a focus on accuracy and compliance throughout the tax cycle.

You'll handle 1040s, apply deductions and credits, and communicate with clients while documenting work in our tax software. Prior tax return prep experience is preferred and a High School Diploma is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience in tax return preparation preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Tax Preparation: Prepare 1040 forms for individual income tax returns and file electronically or by mail.
• Consultation: Calculate tax liabilities and refunds, apply deductions/credits, and perform reviews as needed.
• Administrative: Collect and organize tax documents and enter data into tax preparation software.
• Client Management: Communicate with clients to answer questions and record billable time.
