Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services is seeking a Regulatory Analyst to transform data for the safe transport of materials domestically and internationally. This position is within the Scientific Insourcing Solutions division and includes training to grow a laboratory sciences career.

The role requires a chemistry-related bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in chemical regulatory work, including SDS authoring, with strong GHS knowledge and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of chemical regulatory experience.
  • 3+ years of SDS authoring experience.
  • Strong understanding of GHS and chemical regulatory compliance.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good database management skills, including attention to detail.
  • Computer applications and systems related to the work.
  • Principles and practices for serving as an effective project team member.

Responsibilities

  • Authors Safety Data Sheets in compliance with domestic and global regulations.
  • Completes and processes various types of standard regulatory forms, documents, databases, and related materials and information.
  • Provides data management and analysis of raw materials.
  • Completes general hazard communication and reviews regulatory information for accuracy.
  • Works in computer applications and systems related to the work: Excel, Teams, Lisam/ExESS.
  • Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.
  • Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.
