Job summary

Keeper Security, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for the Keeper Secrets Manager (KSM) team. This 100% remote role offers a hybrid option for candidates in the El Dorado Hills, CA metro area.

You will design, build, and scale automated test systems for APIs, SDKs, and cloud-hosted services to ensure security and reliability. You will collaborate with software engineers and DevOps to shape automation strategy, integrate tests into CI/CD, and raise the bar for quality

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in test automation or software development in test.
• Proficient in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience owning automation frameworks or test systems.
• Hands-on with Playwright or Pytest.
• Experience testing APIs, SDKs, and cloud services (AWS preferred).
• Strong CI/CD integration experience.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of SSO/OAuth/SAML authentication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for APIs, SDKs, and cloud-hosted services.
• Build reusable automation libraries and tooling for API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Manage containerized test environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Validate secure authentication and access workflows (SSO, OAuth, SAML).
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps to improve testability and quality.
