Job summary

Roadie, a UPS company, is hiring a Remote Software Engineer in Test in the USA. This full-time role focuses on data science microservices testing, automation, and end-to-end validation.

You’ll build robust test infra, troubleshoot automation across environments, and ensure quality through the software lifecycle. Requirements include 3+ years in a developer/SDET role, Python proficiency (others like Ruby or JS a plus), API/DB testing, Pytest, and CI/CD experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a developer, SDET or QA automation role.
• 3+ years coding experience in Python; coding/scripting in other languages (Ruby, Bash or JavaScript) a plus.
• Experience with testing APIs and DBs; Pytest preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and monitoring/observability tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills; ability to work in fast-paced release cycles.

Responsibilities

• Build robust test infrastructure powering automated regression testing for data science microservices.
• Troubleshoot automation issues across multiple environments and improve test suites.
• Develop and execute test strategies and high-impact test cases.
• Review product requirements for design and quality alignment.
• Collaborate with engineers to perform end-to-end testing and post-deployment validation.
