This remote, contract role targets high school students in SAT/ACT preparation in the United States. Ideal candidates are experienced educators with a teaching credential or equivalent, who can deliver targeted test prep, customize plans, and maintain professional communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of SAT/ACT test prep experience.
• Proven ability to teach all sections of at least one test (SAT/ACT).
• Experience tutoring/teaching virtually.
• Remote availability weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.
• Consistent availability for at least 3 hours per week.
• One-year commitment preferred.
• Access to a computer with webcam and reliable internet.
• Ability to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SAT and/or ACT preparation to high school students remotely.
• Tailor test prep plans based on diagnostic results and timelines.
• Build knowledge, strategies, and confidence for exam success.
• Use gradual release teaching to foster independence.
• Stay current on test formats, timing, scoring, and online tools.
• Support diverse learners and help manage test anxiety.
• Track progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Communicate professionally with families and the ALB Tutoring team.
• Maintain Teachworks calendar and regular progress discussions.
