Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation seeks an Architect - SAP SCM to lead as the enterprise solution architect for SAP SCM and as the People Manager for the SAP SCM functional team. This dual mandate covers Production Planning, Manufacturing, QM, WM, Shop Floor Control, and MES integration, while also guiding the team with staffing and development plans.

Qualifications

• 20+ years ERP experience across ERP systems and SAP with hands-on in SCM modules (PP, QM, WM), MES integration, and enterprise-level solution architecture and roadmap ownership for a multi-module ERP portfolio.
• 10+ years Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, configuration, and best practices with SAP.
• 10+ years' experience integrating SAP with non-SAP systems (e.g., Ariba, Concur, Workday).
• 10+ years of direct people-management experience leading a technical or functional team.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or nuclear-adjacent manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a leader and enterprise solution architect for the SAP SCM functional area, setting design direction across PP, QM, WM, Shop Floor Control, and MES/Engineering integration.
• Partner with BPOs to identify, prioritize, and scope process needs, balancing new initiatives with legacy processes.
• Own the functional roadmap for SAP SCM, including legacy systems evaluation and SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA transition needs.
• Guide SAP SCM project implementations from requirements through go-live with AMS coordination.
• Establish and track delivery metrics and report status to IT and business leadership.
• Manage the SAP SCM functional team: hiring, onboarding, development planning, and performance evaluations.
• Set team priorities and workload to drive efficiency and on-time business value.
• Coach team members on technical depth and stakeholder-facing skills.
• Own team capacity planning and staffing recommendations for resource planning.
