Job summary

Snowrelic Inc is seeking a senior SAP FICO consultant to lead advanced tax determination within SAP S/4HANA and manage cross-module tax integration. You will configure tax engines (ONESOURCE/Sovos), support real-time tax processing, and translate complex tax laws into actionable specifications.

This 6-month engagement is mainly remote with occasional travel to Indiana, US for workshops and go-lives; training days are provided initially.

Qualifications

8+ years of SAP FICO implementation experience with 2 full life-cycle implementations in FI and CO/SD/MMI integration
SAP FICO knowledge with focus in Tax, Statutory in US/CA (must)
Experience with Tax Engine Onesource preferred
Expert knowledge of SAP Indirect Tax (VAT/GST) and SAP DRC (preferred)
ABAP debugging to troubleshoot complex tax calculations and interfaces
Excellent communication and problem solving skills

Responsibilities

Advanced Tax Determination: design and deliver automated tax determination logic in SAP S/4HANA (condition technique)
Cross-Module Integration: integrate tax requirements across SD, MM and FI
Tax Engine Management: configure interface between SAP and external tax engines for real-time calculations
Digital Reporting: support setup for real-time reporting and SAFT
Requirements Translation: translate tax laws into functional specs
End-to-End Testing: lead Unit, SIT and UAT for tax changes
Risk Mitigation: resolve complex issues in high-volume transactions and e-invoice submissions
