Job summary

Global Information Technology is seeking a SAP Developer for a remote contract role to design, develop, and maintain SAP solutions using ABAP and SAP RAP.

The role involves creating CDS views, behavior definitions, and OData V4 services, and working on SAP S/4HANA applications with HANA-optimized solutions. Collaboration with functional teams and stakeholders is essential to meet requirements and deliver robust integrations.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP ABAP and ABAP OO.
• Strong SAP RAP experience including managed/unmanaged objects.
• Experience with CDS views, behavior definitions, and OData V4.
• Experience on SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of SAP Clean Core principles.
• Experience with HANA development, CDS, AMDP, or HANA views.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain government security clearance.
• Candidates with .NET or other programming languages are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP solutions using ABAP and SAP RAP.
• Develop CDS views, business objects, behavior definitions, and OData V4 services.
• Work on SAP S/4HANA applications and HANA-optimized solutions.
• Follow SAP Clean Core principles and support side-by-side extensions.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Support integrations with internal and third-party systems using APIs and middleware.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with technical and business teams.
