Job summary

Aptino, Inc. seeks an experienced SAP Functional Lead for the Cloud ERP domain to own and optimize SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Professional Services processes.

This role is remote in the US with travel as needed, leading project setup, billing, and financial controls. You will coordinate with Finance, time/expense, and resource management systems, drive testing and production support, and oversee governance of configurations for continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP project systems / Professional Services functional experience.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of customer projects, project billing, and project financial controls.
• Experience with SAP FI/CO integration, time recording, testing, and post-go-live support.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer project setup, lifecycle management, and work-package configuration.
• Manage project billing, billing plans, and billing request processes.
• Support project financials, profitability, and Event-Based Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinate integrations with Finance, time/expense, and resource management systems.
• Lead functional testing, production support, defect resolution, and release impact assessments.
• Drive configuration governance and continuous process improvements.
