Job summary

ALGEBRAIT is seeking an expert SAP Data Migration Lead for a business carveout project. You will extract, transform, and load active open items and historical closed records back into SAP or other environments, guiding business and functional teams through FI, CO, PS data dependencies during the carveout.

The role requires 5+ years of SAP Data Migration experience, deep FI/CO/PS knowledge, and strong leadership in data migration across SD and MM modules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP Data Migration experience, with lead roles in carveouts or company code splits.
• Experience loading historical data and open items into SAP or target environments.
• Deep knowledge of SAP FI/CO/PS modules and related data structures.
• Ability to guide cross-functional teams through FI/CO/PS, SD, MM data maps and validations.
• Proficiency with SAP LSMW or specialized carveout data tools.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end carveout data migration scope and strategy for specific company code data (open items and historical records).
• Design migration approaches to load historical closed-data without violating accounting integrity or workflows.
• Guide cross-module teams to map, validate, and sign off on data structures across FI/CO/PS and SD/MM.
• Oversee data filtering, cleansing, and transformation rules using ETL tools or custom routines.
• Establish a reconciliation framework to ensure migrated data ties back to the legacy system for audit.
