Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP developer to translate business requirements into enterprise application designs within SAP S/4HANA. You will develop, modify, test, and maintain ABAP applications, ensuring reliability and performance.

Collaborate with SAP consultants and customer teams to evaluate approaches, participate in all stages of the SDLC, and create technical documentation. Remote work, competitive salary, and benefits are included; travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of SAP S/4HANA development experience.
• Solid understanding of SAP development concepts and practices.
• Strong programming skills and data structures knowledge.
• Good knowledge of software architecture, cloud architecture, and enterprise design.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and detail orientation.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
• Experience documenting IT work and SAP development tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate customer needs into detailed enterprise application designs and technical specifications.
• Develop, modify, test, and maintain SAP ABAP applications within SAP S/4HANA environments, ensuring functionality, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with SAP Functional Consultants and customer teams to evaluate alternative technical approaches and recommend effective solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including research, prototyping, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, support, and operations.
• Create programming specifications, technical diagrams, coding logic flowcharts, and documentation for enterprise application modifications and installations.
• Apply software architecture principles and established development standards to build maintainable, scalable, and secure applications.
• Work closely with developers, technical specialists, and other stakeholders to coordinate deliverables and ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Continuously develop knowledge of SAP development processes, tools, product standards, and emerging enterprise technologies.
• Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement of application development practices.
